Brent Thomson R.I.P.

brentBrent Thomson, the man behind the masterfully built single track in Bootleg Canyon has died. After surviving a severe heart attack and the subsequent quadruple bypass surgery earlier this year, he took a turn for the worse a few days back and now has died.

Known for his passion concerning the trails in the Las Vegas/Boulder City area, Brent spent his talents on designing and cutting some epic single track called Bootleg Canyon. His unwavering love of the sport propelled Brent into the hearts and minds of everyone he met. Proud to support his sport through countless hours baking in the desert sun in the shadows of sin city. Brent built trails like no other. The International Mountain Bike Association has certified one of the XC trails as an Epic Ride, a title given out only 18 times so far. These trails are known to bring riders from all over the world to enjoy the beautiful lines created by the Mastermind.

Now we have lost him to the single track in the sky. Ride hard, ride well old dog you will be missed!
