Yes I Can!!
Buy new tires for the singlespeed!! Whoo hoo.

Today I am going out to see what the shops have to offer. I have needed them for a while and now I am going to commit. Lately the front tire is so bad I cant hold a line, which has led to some nasty off trail excursions.
Including a few last night.
After hauling the bike up the Manitou Incline I had a few beers. Then headed down the Barr trail. Unfortunately my head la
mp was way way to dim and I could only see a foot or so past my front tire (the bald one). This meant I was in real trouble. Casuality for the night was, my front brake lever is TRASHED and my left shin is bruised to hell.
However it was nice to get out with some buddies. Fortunately we had a great crowd out there and we all enjoyed a few pints at Kinfolks afterwards.

Oh and although I barely had any gear in it, the Ergon BD2 pack I have in for review performed amazingly. I couldn't even tell I was wearing it, but that could have been due to the fact I was scared of flying off the trail in the dark and down the side of the mountain!
Another great aspect of the night is that I ran into local WMBA of COS (Womens Mountain Bike Association of Colorado Springs) co-founders and Sunna Racing Team shredders Betty and Hillary!! We had a short but intense talk about some exciting plans they have for raising awareness for women's mountain biking including future clinics and shred fests!!! Stay posted more coming soon including a heads up on their upcoming events.
