What's In The Box??? (Day 2)
This is day 2 of our 30 day shake down assesment of whether CrossFit is a work out that is truly valuable for adventurers or if it is another Jazzercise fad soon to go by the wayside.
We have chosen one of the premiere CrossFit gyms in Colorado Springs, CO to run us through the paces and thus far we are impressed.
I feel good, slightly sore and motivated for tomorrow. Today we blasted through the following work out.
Snatch Balance 45/65
Chest 2 Bar Pullups
Box Jumps 24″
For twenty seconds do as many reps of the assigned exercise as you can – then rest 10 seconds.
Repeat this seven more times for a total of 8 intervals, 4 minutes total exercise.
The score is the least number of reps for any of the eight intervals.
Your score was based off of the least number of reps you could manage. Which I really enjoy because it becomes a personal goal to smoke yourself silly. I scored a 12 and I feel damn proud of it. (SB-2/C2B-1/BJ-6/DU-3)
