The Bedrock Trail Race Series
The Bedrock Trail Race Series consists of three races: Bob's Bash (5K, 9K, 20+ miler), The Blue Moon Trail Run (5K, 10K) and the Great Pumpkin Run (5K, 10K). Here is the info about the series:
Sat. June 23rd- Aspen Valley Ranch The First Annual Bob’s Bash is a true mountain run. This race has all the elements of a great trail run: spectacular views of Pikes Peak at every turn, serious grunts up the East Ridge, speedy single track through aspen meadows, and a tightening spiral up to the 360-degree views up at the high point of the race at the “Gazebo.” This run will thrill and challenge every trail runner who loves a great, but tough, race. Join us for the inaugural race celebrating the pure excitement of a mountain race that will leave you sweating and smiling to the max. After the race please stick around and enjoy a few Bristol Brewing Company beers and some great live music that will allow this to be a true bash!
Fri. August 31st- Ute Valley Park The First Annual Blue Moon Trail Run is a twilight run under the full, blue moon in beautiful Ute Valley Park. A true trail run for all ability levels, both the 5K and 10K will navigate through the best features of the park and will be run exclusively along natural surfaces. A children’s run will precede the race, and all events will be followed with a delicious meal. Childcare will be provided ($5 suggested donation day of race).
Sat. Oct. 6th- Venetucci Farm Choose between a 5K or a 10K run, 8:30am Start. The mostly flat courses are run at the Historic Venetucci Farm on the south side of Colorado Springs, come run along side the pumpkin and corn fields! This race benefits Venitucci Farm & Pinello Ranch. Parking is limited-we highly recommend car-pooling! Post race breakfast will be provided to all race participants. Childcare will be provided ($5 suggested donation day of race). Following the Great Pumpkin Run is The Little Pumpkin Fun Run, which is open to children 10 and under. ($5 Entry Fee)
