Milk Stout Nitro

Left Hand Brewing Company's Milk Stout Nitro has got to be one of the smoothest Milk Stouts out there. I'm not sure if smooth and stout are two words that should really go together, but that's exactly what this beer is. It has a creamy feel to it with flavorful hints of vanilla and coffee. It rings in at a moderate 6% ABV and is an easy drink. It holds a low to medium lacing on the glass and pours to a thin head, with the typical dark body of any stout. I would have to say this isn't your typical stout beer, if anything I feel like I'm drinking a light version of a stout. That's not a bad thing, just not what I've come to expect with Milk Stouts. The smooth light feel and delicious taste will keep me reaching for more, all the while not making feel like I'm drinking a meal replacement. Very easy going, excellent choice for a dinner brew. This stout will pair perfectly with anything on my plate come Thanksgiving, I can't wait.

Enjoy and happy Thanksgiving everyone!
