Belhaven Scottish Ale
Happy Father's day to all you dad's out there! I hope you had a wonderful day, and you're getting to relax now with one of your favorite beers. I might not be a dad, but I'm definitely enjoying a good beer right now. This week's brew is Belhaven Scottish Ale, and it comes from over the pond.
Available in cans or bottles Belhaven Scottish Ale pours to a nice copper body with a thin white head. Not much lacing clings to the glass as it drinks. It's a smooth Scottish Ale that has a bit of a stronger taste than the Scottish Ale's I'm used to drinking. It's just a little more on the bitter side, but still drinks very light.
Belhaven Scottish Ale is an easy drinker and with an ABV of 5.2% it's quite easy to kill a few of these in one sitting.
