G'Knight

All of Colorado is burning...just as it has for years and while there does not seem to be any release from the fire or the searing heat there are ice cold beers that can at once take us far away and at the same time bring us to the heart of the beast.

Oskar Blues G'Knight (formerly known as Gordon) Imperial Red is one of those beers, named after a bad ass firefighter named Gordon Knight who died fighting a wild fire to protect the state he loved. I hear he was as Colorado as they come and I am glad OB had the thought to remind us of all of the sacrifices our public servants endure. This Imperial Red is an amazing beer that blends the crisp tart hoppy punch of a double IPA with the rich malt of an Imperial Red. So if you're feeling the heat and want to just get away, grab a sixer of these all Colorado cans and slug down one to toast the brave men and women that head into the belly of the beast and then another just to cool off a bit. And yes 2 of these fine ales is the current recommended minimal dosage....
