Imperial Pilsner

It was only a matter of time before we put up a beer from the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp series. For the first one I picked the Imperial Pilsner. I've been doing a lot of IPAs lately and I think it's about time to switch it up. This crystal clear beauty pours to a light golden body with a luminous white head that quickly disappears. For a pilsner this beer has a lot of hop behind the taste, with a slight grassy flavor. It has a decent amount of carbonation and goes down with a clean dry finish.

The Imperial Pilsner has an ABV of 6.0% and you'll have no problem pounding through a couple of these in one sitting. The Imperial Pilsner from the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp series is a smooth drinker that pairs great with a warm summer's night.
