Bully Porter
As the weather turns cold it's easy to reach for a heavier bodied beer like a porter. The Bully Porter from Boulevard Brewing Company of Kansas City, Missouri is the perfect example of one of these porters. The Bully pours to a dark brown body with a fluffy tan full head. It tastes of rich roasted malts with chocolate and coffee flavors. There is a moderate amount of carbonation and a thin lacing left clinging to the glass. The mouth feel is smooth and silky. This is a relaxed brew to have as a nightcap. With a mellow ABV of 5.20% you can carelessly knock down a couple of pints.
