I would have to say that they do run a tad wide in the toe box but comfortably in the heel. These were meant more as hikers than runners and we have another model we're testing now that are fairly nice as well....although they too have a larger toe box. Depending on how many miles you'll be in them and how much your feet swell would really be the best way to judge. For me (I have narrow feet) even with swell they were too sloppy. I think the standard is 1/2 size larger than street shoes is the goal for trail running shoes. We also have a meeting with Treksta at the Outdoor Retailer trade show in early August and would be happy to ask any questions you have!
Hey, thanks for the review..I've been looking at Treksta trail shoes wondering if they'd be a good runners. I've heard in their other models Trekstas run a bit big..was that true of these Edicts as well? Some have reported going down a half size compared to many of their road running shoes (e.g., 11 in Brooks Ghost needed a 10.5 in Trekstas). Thanks!
You do have to use your fingers to push all the little spongy tentacles down into the bottle a few at a time, but it really is not difficult. And after the brush head is in the bottle, it works so, so well to clean the inside all over, it is worth the extra few seconds of manipulation.
Having had my truck topper broken into a time or two and expensive items stolen, I have to keep security in mind at all times. Thinking of building an upper/lower area for the truck topper of my dreams. Lower area (below the truck rails) is for storage with heavy bolts, heavy hinges, and thief-resistant padlocks. The upper area is the bedding area with a comfortable mattress. Thinking of putting an alarm of some kind that uses a cell phone and sends me a text message as well as rings out a LOUD audible alarm if the truck is tampered with.
Thanks for the tips Randi! All good suggestions. My dad used to work the firelines, and I never could figure out how he could stand the smoke, but I know he was doing for the greater good.
As a Kona coffee and a beer lover I would have loved to give this a try. Problem is I just found this site and it is April. Next season for sure already added it to my calender. I'll have to go through the rest of your site now, I bet you have some other goodies I would also love.
No! leave it alone those names are long and stupid! It IS a monument to the awesomeness that is COLORADO. We don't need to gussy it up for fucking tourists, they can go anywhere else leave something special for natives. The park is such a nice park that it's impossible to miss the monolithic monuments and rock formations as is. It's also wonderful for cycling without a million idio... motorists to clog the road and destroy the relative pristine-ness. It's a hidden gem with a great name, leave it alone. John Otto is rolling in his grave right now, (even though it's in California)

Absolutely, unfortunately there are folks out there from the shallow end of the gene pool that just want to cause chaos. We're glad these jokers were busted. There is no place for this type of nonsense.
Steve,
Thank you so much for the great review and the time to write it! I shared the post from our FB page!

Nice! Thanks for the heads up Nadine!
Absolutely! Let's do this!
Count me in!! Lets go fishing!
Crank Yanker is my fave IPA! Just wanted to let you know it can be found in 16oz cans at Coaltrain in Colorado Springs.
So just shown to me how that magic works! Great review man. Cheers for the water!
A regular old cheap sponge brush for glasses works really well. I got mine for a whopping $1.50 at the local Dollar General.
This is the kind I am talking about:

I could never imagine myself doing this. Felicity is such a woman to be admired. Very courageous indeed.
I love this artwork. The beer and the pic of Colorado looks awesome as well. Man this makes me thirsty.
The pack is amazingly design. It content everything. Like its fit and grip on all the side. Love the design. Seems very comfortable.

Hi Mollie, if you do the 5k or 9k, you should be fine. Bob's Bash is all trail ups and downs while the GOG 10 is all road.
Hey Randi--
How hard is this run? I'm doing GOG 10 miler about two weeks before this, and don't want to over do it.
Mollie
