There are two kennels here in Colorado Springs, the Colorado Kimchi H3 and the Pikes Peak H3. They hash on opposite Saturdays, so every Saturday you can hash in the area. In general, the Kimchi hash drinks more and the Pikes Peak hash runs more, though it depends on the hare. For more info on Colorado hashing go to www.harrier.net.
Thanks for the props. It's not that I really want to wait in line to practice, but I would definitely like to see more people take advantage of the course. Eventually it could become a bit more of a meeting place for others that are backcountry inclined.
By the way, if you have no beacon but you are ready to invest in your own safety and progression, the Back Country Access (BCA) Tracker can now be found for around $220 from the right retailer. It isn't fancy, but neither is your life so they compliment each other well.
Well, I am very proud to say that today marks my 1,273rd day since I had my last box on my head. After this last incident, I gave it up cold turkey. I also have picked back up the healthy habit of sniffing crotch. I hope other dogs can learn from my mistakes.

You know that I have personally seen Mongo, Bacho's owner do the exact same thing, but I am not sure he ever got out. "Mongo need Boobies" --trust me you don't want to know--
Hi, yesterday I saw someone wearing an Up a mountain down a beer t. shirt and like a prat I didn't ask where he got it from. I would love to get hold of a couple for my daughter and myself for when we walk the Cumbria Way, alright pretty low key stuff as far as mountains go but totally appropriate for us. Please could you let me know how I could get them? P S If you are the same group who climed Ben Lomand in New Zealand we can both lay claim to having done that. Thanking you with my fingers crossed, Andrea Shires
I found your site on technorati and read a few of your other posts. Keep up the good work. I just added your RSS feed to my Google News Reader. Looking forward to reading more from you.
Wow, good stuff! I love the description of how the yeast works- I thought Rob was the one eating sugar, pissing alcohol, and farting carbonation... He told me about your adventures in brewing and I'm definitely going to have to try that some time!
Buddy Pass holders get 1/2 price tickets ($40) at Heavenly, if you happen to be passing through the Lake Tahoe area. Everyone I was there with was jealous of the bargain I was getting.

So. . . You knew about this, the whole time you've been telling me "'nut to butt' is the only way to keep warm?" I feel so dirty.
It's pretty amazing that it works when soaked. Did you try it with the magnesium fire starter?
Shoot it!
Wonder if Bristol would let us bring strippers in?
Sweet video Yeti! Does this mean that since you know what to burn, we won't have any more cold wet nights when we're camping?? JK!
Funny thats not what melissa said!! HAHAHAHA thanks for the comment and I will let you know how it turned out.
I've got some fatwood. You should have said something earlier. You could have saved yourself a lot of work.
Really though... I'm looking forward to seeing how it works.

I second that
Sweet any suggestions on a good group of hashers in the area?
Good stuff over here! Love the pic at the top of this page!
If you like Quinn's you should try hashing. It's cheaper, the trails are better, and we drink those Quinn's wankers under the table.
What a tough life you lead?!

Sweet!? I wouldn't mind a shorter drive and a less crowded place to ride. I wonder how big the vertical drop would be? Look it up.
