3rd Sunday Adventure- North Cheyenne Cañon

Did you know there was a beautiful, scenic, mountain park in the city of Colorado Springs? Well, there are many wonderful parks and open spaces here but my favorite has to be North Cheyenne Cañon! It has it all:  beginner to advanced hiking trails, waterfalls and killer mountain bike trails!

We'll be hiking from the Starsmore Discovery Center along the Lower Columbine Trail to the mid Columbine Trail. Our focus for this hike is Leave No Trace:

  • Know Before You Go
  • Choose The Right Path
  • Trash Your Trash
  • Leave What You Find
  • Be Careful With Fire
  • Respect Wildlife
  • Be Kind To Other Visitors

Family friendly, free and as always, a bike ride will commence later for those wanting either a double dip or just a bike ride. We will most likely meet at 12pm at the Stratton Open Space parking lot and be shuttled up to Capt. Jacks/The Chutes.
