- Weight: 15 grams
- Length: 2 3/4 inches closed, 5 inches open
- Blade length: 2 1/8 inches
- MSRP: $22.00 (but I found it as low as $18 on the web)
- Material: 420 Stainless Steel
- Style: Folding blade with a liner locking system
The Baladeo 15g folding pocket knife is a minimalist's dream come true. This stainless steel blade weighs next to nothing and folds down to three inches in length, with a max width of 1/8 of an inch! This knife is extremely compactible and easy to carry.
The stainless steel skeleton frame is a direct contributor to this blades low weight, but the design offers more. There is a handy circular punch-out located at the base of the handle intended for the use of a lanyard. A true minimalist might not care so much for this, but I strongly suggest you use it. This is a very small blade and can be easily lost or misplaced. I mainly like to keep this blade with my SOL kit. I personally wouldn't use this 15g blade as main knife, but its light weight and size make it a great emergency back up. It's also perfect for reducing your EDC (every day carry).
Baladeo offers a large product line of outdoor gear, ranging from packable camping chairs to multi-tools. The light weight Baladeo knives come in varying sizes and weights. Please visit www.Baladeo.com for more information.
