Brown Ale

Since we had so much fun on the slopes this weekend, we figured we'd keep it going with the BOTW. Upslope Brewing Company from Boulder, CO. brings us this deliciously unique Brown Ale. Unique I say, because it is. This concoction was brewed in the attempt to put an "Americanized" twist on Brown Ales, which are traditionally known to be a British Style Ale. Upslope Brewing Co. made their Brown a little more bitter than most Brown Ales, by taking away some of the sweet caramel flavor that's consistent with Brown Ales. These 12 oz. cans sport a respectable 6.7% ABV that has a robust malty roasted flavor, that goes down smoothly, but yet is still somewhat bold. The only problem with Upslope Brewing Co.'s Brown Ale is they disappear fast. Make you sure you buy plenty!!!
