Pulpit Rock is an amazing geologic formation on the northern end of Colorado Springs along the I-25 corridor that offers some amazing views of Pikes Peak. Join us as we hike to the top of this phenomenal rock outcropping that is seldom visited. Please bring water and be prepared for cooler temperatures. This is a great hike for families and dogs on leashes. Should we have snow or ice be prepared with traction devices or trekking poles to help with stability.
Remember regardless of weather we will hike. There is no such thing as poor weather, only poor clothing choices.
DIRECTIONS TO TRAILHEAD:
From downtown Colorado Springs, head north on Nevada Ave. Shortly before Nevada reaches I-25, there are a couple entrances to a small, parallel road on the right lined with a few businesses. At the end of the road, the sharp curve to the right leads to the parking lot for Pulpit Rock Park.
