For being the middle of November, I find myself somewhat surprised at my choice of beer this week. Then again, it is an unseasonably warm November so far. After an awesome UpaDowna 3rd Sunday Adventure today featuring Sean Holveck of Out There Colorado demonstrating a sweet how-to lesson on survival shelters, I kicked back and topped off the event with a smooth 90 Shilling from Odell Brewing Company. The 90 Shilling is an easy drinker available year round. This Amber Ale is smooth and crisp with a clean feel and crisp taste. The 90 Shilling pours to a nice Amber tone with a sticky lacing that follows the drink. A medium body and carbonation best describe the feel. Sweet notes, backed with malty flavors are quite noticeable too. The 90 Shilling has a decent ABV of 5.30% making this a truly easy drinker.
