James Hawkins, is a 25 year old who was born and raised in Grayson GA, who currently serves as a Field Instructor for Rocky Mountain Field Institute and previously as a Crew Leader for Volunteers for Outside Colorado and Mile High Youth Corps. In addition, he also serves on the Colorado Springs Civil Service Commission and Panel for Mental Health USA.
His speech revolves around a 2 week trip to Brazil that he took as International President for his fraternity and the experiences he had there including: being a foreigner in a different country, building relationships with and meeting thousands of young men from Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay and the beautiful forests, mountains, and lakes of Brazil and discovering a world bigger than himself that we all share and rekindling his passion to get involved in adventuring outdoors.

Find us: 525 N. Cascade Ave on the SE corner of Cascade and Willamette. Enter the west door on the Cascade side. Parking is FREE and can be found on Cascade, Willamette and in our parking lot out back.
