Rafting the Grand Canyon- Adventure on Tap Speaker Series
May 9 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Rafting the Grand Canyon- Adventure on Tap Speaker Series @ UpaDowna | Colorado Springs | Colorado | United States

Megan Autrey started whitewater rafting in 2011 and became a certified guide in 2012. She continues to guide seasonally for the USAFA as an Advanced Guide, Guide Instructor, and is Swiftwater Rescue Certified. Her most notable adventure in life was when she became a mother in 2015 and again in 2017. She has a husband and two little girls and thrives on seeking adventures when and wherever she can. She recently completed a 26-day trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon and is passionate about encouraging others – especially moms – to challenge themselves, get outside of comfort zones, and grow as a person through pushing personal limits. In May, she will share about her Grand Canyon trip and how it challenged and changed her as well as how it has helped her shift her perspective on life and interacting with others in a more positive direction.

About Adventure on Tap: UpaDowna’s Speaker Series is a featured activity in our nonprofit’s “Community Campfire” program. This activity features a new discussion each month. Through our speaker series, you’ll have the opportunity to be inspired by many different adventures. Keeping on theme with our mission, we want to inspire individuals to pursue outdoor endeavors and this is one of the ways we hope to bring new and exciting opportunities to you! Want to be a speaker?
