UpaDowna’s 3rd Saturday adventures are an opportunity to meet new people, and explore new trails and hikes throughout Colorado Springs and the Front Range. About: Aiken Canyon Loop Trail is a 3.3 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Colorado Springs, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, trail running, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round. Should we have snow or ice be prepared with traction devices or trekking poles to help with stability.
Remember regardless of weather we will hike. There is no such thing as poor weather, only poor clothing choices. Suggestions of items to wear/bring are: hat, gloves, sturdy hiking shoes, warm socks, face cover, layers of clothing, water, snacks.
DIRECTIONS TO TRAILHEAD: Going south on I-25 take exit 140. Drive south on Nevada / CO-115 for 15 miles. Turn right on Turkey Canyon Ranch road. The parking lot will be on your right.
