Get Up and Get Down to Get Kids Out! Vertical Challenge for GOALS Non-Profit

GOALS ("Get Outside And Learn Something"), is a Colorado non-profit group that offers outdoor education for kids through wilderness rafting trips. We have been lucky enough to have a few convos with the good folks behind this mission and LOVE what they are doing for kids with water!

The Vertical Challenge skiing/snowboarding event is a fun program with a great cause that is coming up in mid-March. Money raised from the event gets kids outside in a GOALS river program.

The basics of this event are easy:

1.  Register yourself as a member of the 2013 GOALS Vertical Challenge team (or to make a donation to any team member) here:

2.  Follow the instructions to create your own fund raising web page, then send it to your friends and family, post to Facebook, asking for their support.

3.  Meet up at Loveland Ski Area on Saturday, March 16th to pick up your FLAIK vertical tracking device.  You'll be able to track your
progress in real time on the live leader board at the base area, and
at the end of the day you can send a digital trail map to your supporters bragging about how many vertical feet you racked up!

4.  Stick around for the prize ceremony after the lifts close, and celebrate the best GOALS Vertical Challenge ever!

To join the 2013 team, check out the Facebook Event and simply go to Make your own page, then email your page link, post it on your Facebook page, etc. and you'll surpass your personal fund raising goal in no time! They are aiming to build a team with 100 members who will raise $50,000, then ski/ride more than 2,000,000 vertical feet on March 16th. Please help them with all 3 GOALS!

We hope you'll join us for this awesome event!

Adventure On!
