Slap Yer Mammy Double IPA

The Slap Yer Mammy Double IPA from Trinity Brewing is one hardcore hoppy brew. With a logo displaying the mean no nonsense Momma Fratelli from the Goonies (one of the greatest movies of all time) this beer had to come hard to back up its infamous depiction.

Slap Yer Mammy is a Flagship brew at Trinity and available all year round. This sucker holds true to it's name, but instead of slapping yer mammy, your pallet is the one getting smacked around, with a 125 IBUs and a loaded 10.5% ABV. It pours to a hazy golden body with a frothy white head that quickly fades. This is a hop bomb of a beer on the taste side, packed, packed, packed full of hop explosion. The mouthfeel is sticky and dry. On the follow along with the hop bitterness you'll notice a distinct alcohol taste. If you don't like bitter hoppy IPAs then stay away from this one. On the other hand, if this is more your style then park it for awhile, sit back and enjoy this bitter monster. 

If you like mouth puckering hoppy filled IPAs this one won't disappoint. It's even dubbed to be one of the most hoppy beers ever brewed! I think Momma Fratelli would even be impressed.
