It's drier than a bone out here in the Front Range of Colorado and we need some snow! It just so happens that UpaDowna has access to a private ranch located west of Woodland Park that has a secret stash of the white stuff. This privately owned residence is a gem of the Pikes Peak Community Foundation and hosts a handful of events throughout the year including music festivals!
Today, we granted access to over 60 folks of all ages to the ranch! The north facing slope had plenty of snow for hundreds of sledding trips and the forest held onto a few inches for the bikes and snowshoes! The Hub Bicycle Shop came out with their Fat Bike rentals and Mountain Equipment Recyclers was on hand with 20 pairs of snowshoes! UpaDowna provided sleds and snacks for everyone! Help us fund more FREE events! Check out the photos here! There were SO many smiles as well as hoots and hollers of a good time! Thanks to everyone who made it out today, if you are as tired as I am, I know we had a wonderful time!
