Stanley Adventure Vacuum Mug

MATERIAL: 18/8 Stainless Steel
MSRP: $ 15

I am addicted to coffee. It’s a fact, it may very well be an issue, but that is for me to deal with on my own and with out your input… In addition I loathe disposable cups and mugs, I want to have my coffee fix and I don’t want to add to the landfill with disposable cups so I as a result have a wide variety of coffee vessels. I have thin walled titanium cups, I have vacuum insulated stainless bottles of all shapes and sizes and now, now I have discovered another and perhaps the best yet (for me) coffee mug in the 8oz Stanley Adventure Vacuum mug. Here are the reasons I dig it. It is only 6″ tall and 3″ in diameter, it has a sipping lid AND a screw top, and it has a handle on the lid. You see, ever since I was a kid I knew my superhero weakness, my kryptonite is that I cannot walk and drink. Period. It does not matter the vessel nor the size of the opening, I will make a mess all over myself if I try to walk and drink. Whatever.

As a result of this lifelong disconnect between my mouth and my feet I have been trying to figure out what the best solution was and as I mentioned before I have spent a good amount of cash of a variety of coffee mug styles. Push button openings, pop tops, sliders, swingers, screw tops, you name it and I probably have one. This has BOTH!

And when you remove the screw top it has a deep well (think lip) for the sip area, this means I am safe from spilling on myself…for the most part. Remember every superhero has a weakness. Now back to the beginning of this review I mentioned I am addicted to coffee, well having the 8oz size is the perfect way to meter my intake and it also is small enough to fit in just about any bag, and it does not feel awkward when I am walking around carrying it. In addition you can remove one of the lids and use only one if you’d like. And rumor has it it is the perfect size for a whiskey drink…or oatmeal!

So yeah I dig it. Check it out if you get a chance it may change your life.
