SKA’s Steel Toe Stout pours dark black and is a pretty damn tasty milk stout. A small tan head builds on the pour but quickly vanishes. The smooth taste of roasted coffee with a milky aftertaste make this a pretty awesome beer. It has an average ABV of 5.40% and is an extremely sessionable brew. SKA labels this as their working class beer, and it doesn’t disappoint.
Overall, I think this is an excellent beer for anyone who enjoys milk stouts or just beer in general. If you get a chance to stop by the SKA tap room in Durango, grab one of these bad boys. Seeing the Nitro foam gush into my glass was worth the price. Plus while you’re at the tap house, you should see if you can locate the YETI. All in all, it's a drinkable stout because it's not too heavy, not too bitter, creamy, and definitely flavorful.
