‘Unleash Your Adventure’ with UpaDowna! UpaDowna programs and events are open to all ages and abilities. To breakdown financial barriers to the outdoors and outdoor recreation, UpaDowna’s programs and events are designed to be free, donation-based, or significantly reduced. All participants must register in advance. Registration links can be found under the ‘Website’ link at the bottom of each event, where you will then be directed to UpaDowna’s Eventbrite.

Little Hikers Pumpkin Palooza
Event Details: It’s Spooky Season! Put on your costume and head to Bear Creek Regional Park East for a family-friendly pumpkin craft. This event is open to all youth and their families. Little Hikers can pick a pumpkin to decorate. All supplies will be provided. Halloween treats (no tricks here!) will also be provided. Hangout at the playground or take an evening walk on one of the trails after you are done decorating!
Cost: $5 per pumpkin. Registration is per pumpkin. Pumpkins are large (ex. if your Little Hiker would like to share a pumpkin with their friend or sibling, you only need purchase one ticket.)
Donations are accepted in-person or through UpaDowna’s website. Why Donate? UpaDowna’s mission is to provide access to outdoor adventures for all. We breakdown common barriers to activities including costs, experience, and equipment. Your donation helps us cover costs for materials so that we can continue to make our Programs FREE or significantly reduced to our community!
