3rd Sunday Adventure- Stratton Open Space

Our destination for June's 3rd Sunday Adventure hike/bike will be Stratton Open Space. It's also Father's day which means this hike is dedicated to all the Dad's out there! We'll focus on the basics of how to find a Geocache and who knows, maybe your dad will find some sweet gifts hidden along the hike! GPS units are suggested for this hike but if you don't have one, don't worry, we'll have a couple extra.

We'll begin hiking at 10am near the trailhead off Cheyenne Blvd/Ridgeway. After the hike, there will be a mountain bike ride option at 2pm.

Stratton Open Space offers 318 acres of open space, trails, and wildlife habitat for Colorado Springs.

Next to North Cheyenne Cañon, the Stratton Open Space offers five distinct ecosystems, miles of trails, a rich variety of wildlife, and access to the Pike National Forest.
