LIVESTRONG Challenge 2010

Well we’ve done it again and are throwing our collective hats in the ring to try and make a bit of a difference. I have decided to ride in the Livestrong Challenge 2010 July 11 2010 in San Jose, California. I don’t think I know anyone that has not been touched by cancer in one way or another, either directly or had a friend or family member, and this is a great chance to show your support and raise money and awareness for the cancer fighting powers that be.

I have formed the UpaDowna team and am currently looking for supporters and riders. I set a rather low goal of $5,000 for the team to raise and only set the members at 6 (which I am fully willing to increase both!!). I know times are tough but this is something that we can truly make a difference.

I am also seeking sponsors for our 1st batch of cycling jerseys/wicking technical shirts. If you are interested in donating money to either the Livestrong challange or to the UpaDowna jersey fund please let me know and we will make arrangements.
