Lightning Strike Stout

With my head still spinning from the good times last night, a beer worthy of being the hair of the dog is definitely in order today. Just one smooth beer is all need right now, and I found it in the form of Lightning Strike Stout from Rockyard Brewery.

Lightning Strike Stout is a rich ale brewed from fine chocolate and caramel malts that give it a delicious sweet taste. The stout pours to a dark body much like a cola in appearance with a thin tan head. There is a moderate amount of lacing, nothing too sticky. It's a smooth sipper with an ABV of 6.0% and you can easily drink a few of these in one sitting. There are plenty of pleasant aromas also with this beer ranging from coffee to hints of vanilla.  

The Lightning Strike Stout is a great beer for relaxing on a cold day or washing down a nice juicy steak.
