Bear Ass Brown

Who received a Gold Medal in the 2011 World Beer Championship? That's right Silverton Brewery's Bear Ass Brown did! Silverton is a little mountain town lying in the heart of the San Juan's here in Colorado. A place where you can go for great adventures, and award winning beers. Bear Ass Brown is the smoothest of smoothes when it comes to Brown Ales, and they have the gold medal to prove it. If it needs more backing than that to convince you of it's greatness, how about it starring as our BOTW this week??? If that doesn't do it for you, you're a hard nut to crack.

It's a 4.5% ABV English-Style Mild, that gets its rich color and smooth flavor from chocolate and crystal malts. Sorry to all the fans of House Bill 1284 and Senate Bill 194, but I don't think you'll be finding Bear Ass Brown in your local Wal Mart. So, get to your local shop, pick up a sixer of Bear Ass Brown and enjoy. I sure did!!!
