You’re Beautiful

Well actually, you look like I need a drink! I love it when we find new critters, and not just parasites and bugs. This sexy fella (pictured above) was wrangled up in some ancient woodlands in a remote part of central China (Sichuan province). The locals were calling it the "oriental yeti", sorry Steve. I think it looks like a hairless bear/dog mutant. Reportedly it has a tail like a kangaroo and calls like a cat. When it was caught it was very vocal, maybe it was calling for others to come save it, or perhaps it's the last one. The locals in the area have a legend of man that was turned into a bear, some believe this is what they caught. The DNA has been sent to Beijing for testing.

I can't help, but remember the "Montauk Monster" (to the left, to the left, everything you own in a box to the left) that washed up on the beaches near Montauk New York in 2008. Whatever happened with this anyways? Last I heard it's body mysteriously disappeared. Well as for the "Oriental Yeti" the poor thing is alive and being tested on. It'll probably turn out to be a hairless Red Panda (geographically I have no idea if this is even a possibility), or something we already know of. I'm crossing my fingers that we found a new species. In closing remember this is the wilderness, and the word "wild" is in wilderness for a reason. If nothing else maybe you can come up with a creepy campfire story.  I'm going to kick it with Bigfoot for awhile, have a beer or two and see what he thinks of all this.
