Grand Trunk One Made Double Hammock

Let’s start his out with a fact: it costs more to produce goods in America than it does in several other countries. The result of this means the cost of those goods is higher. However, the folks over at Grand Trunk have figured the system out and now offer both single and double hammocks are a very reasonable price ($99, and $119) Yes, this hammock is more expensive than some overseas sourced hammocks. But yeah, America. And all of this came from the company’s desire to create an American manufactured product to highlight the “complex journey of American manufacturing“. Yep, American pride in American goods. That’s why this hammock stands out to me. The Grand Trunk hammock is made in America and it features great quality that comes with that pride. Grand Trunk has made this beauty out of their proprietary Trunk Tech 1.1oz nylon. The stitching is a square ripstop-esque and thus far I have had no issues with it ripping or tearing the stitching along the panels.

One noticeable win is the fact that Grand Trunk has a woven loop of webbing between the end of the hammock fabric and the carabiner and while I don’t understand what it means, Grand Trunk says the stitching is “T70 Seatbelt” soooo I guess that means it is stitched real good ya’ll. This loop of webbing may not seem like a big deal but this greatly helps is having the hammock lay flat and not be so bunched up and twisted.

All in all this is a real nice hammock that is fairly light, breathable and made with the love of America for America!
