Finding a beer new to the great state of Colorado is always a good thing, however finding a new high quality smooth I.P.A. is a great thing! Which is why I am pleased to have had the chance to taste this smooth crisp beer that leads you deeper into it with strong grapefruit aroma and a well balanced taste. Rarely can you find an I.P.A. that has the wallop of high A.B.V. as well as a drinkability of a session brew, and Firestone Walker may have figured it out. I was introduced to this 7.5% ABV wonderment at the Hungry Toad in Boulder, CO this weekend and immediately knew this was our next BOTW. After asking around a bit I found a store that was selling the bombers and learned that Firestone Walker had just started distributing in Colorado in the last few weeks.

“We are looking forward to spending some time in the mountains in a great beer state and home to some of the best Craft Brewers in America,” Walker said, “and we feel privileged to be a part of that scene.”

So Coloradoans get down to your local liquor joint and grab a sixer or bomber and enjoy. I know FW is distributed through out the west coast but may be sneaking across the country soon!
